Student Interaction Program Akola - District
Career Katta Workshops in Akola District – 13 August 2025
Under the joint initiative of the Department of Higher & Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra and the Maharashtra Information Technology Support Center, the Career Katta program organized a series of student interaction sessions in Akola district on 13th August 2025, led by Mr. Yashwant Shitole, President, Maharashtra IT Support Center.

Shreemati R.D.G. Women’s College, Akola – Around 90 students attended. The session was organized under the guidance of Principal Dr. Charushila Rumale and Vice-Principal Dr. Ambadas Pande, with support from Indian Seva Sadan leaders including Mr. Dilipraj Goenka, Mr. Ravibabu Goenka, Mr. Bharatraj Goenka, and Mr. Alok Kumar. Faculty members and coordinators also actively participated.

Shri Shivaji College, Akola – Over 300 students participated. The event was chaired by Principal Dr. R.M. Bhise, with District Coordinator Dr. Tushar Deshmukh and Career Parliament Planning Minister Ms. Shruti Belurkar present. After the interaction, a meeting was held with office bearers of the Career Parliament from seven different colleges, followed by a prize distribution ceremony for students selected in the Solar Energy Society competition.

Sinha College, Patur – About 70 students participated. The session was chaired by Principal Dr. Khandare with the presence of Chief Convener Dr. Rameshwar Bhise and faculty members.
