Student Interaction Program Ahilyanagar (South) - District
On July 30, 2025, as part of the Career Katta initiative launched by the Maharashtra State Department of Higher and Technical Education in collaboration with the Maharashtra Information Technology Assistance Center, a series of student interaction programs were held across multiple colleges in the Ahmednagar district.
At Dadapatil Rajale Arts and Science College, Shri Yashwant Shitole, Founder and Chairman of the Maharashtra Information Technology Assistance Center, engaged with students, highlighting the significance of Artificial Intelligence in shaping future careers. He emphasized the need for students to adopt a positive mindset, embrace technological advancements, and systematically plan their careers through SIP (Systematic Investment Planning). The principal, Dr. Rajdhar Temkar, elaborated on Career Katta activities designed to assist students preparing for competitive exams and entrepreneurship.
Similarly, at Babuji Avhad College, Pathardi, Mr. Shitole advised students to utilize social media and AI tools productively for career growth rather than distractions. He also urged them to maintain a backup plan for their careers and to work with perseverance and discipline.
At Pemraj College, the Career Katta was inaugurated with guidance from Mr. Shitole, who motivated students to use AI and modern technology for personal and national progress. The principal, Dr. Maheshwari Gavit, assured full implementation of Career Katta activities at the institution.
Further, at Ahmednagar College, more than 100 students interacted with Mr. Shitole. The session included the presence of dignitaries such as Dr. Rajdhar Temkar and other district coordinators. A follow-up meeting with district-level Career Parliament representatives was also conducted.
Finally, at Shri Dhokeshwar College, Parner, Mr. Shitole addressed over 60 students, focusing on the importance of digital literacy, structured career planning, and academic awareness in the era of AI.
