Oath-taking Ceremony of Career Parliament and Student Interaction Program Successfully Held at Shri Muktanand College, Gangapur

Shri Muktanand College, Gangapur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, in association with the Maharashtra State Department of Higher and Technical Education and Maharashtra Information Technology Support Center, organized the “Career Parliament Oath-taking Ceremony 2025-26” under the initiative “Career Katta” on the occasion of World Youth Skills Day. The oath-taking ceremony for newly elected office bearers of the current academic year was conducted in a disciplined and enthusiastic manner simultaneously across colleges in the state through an online platform.

During the event, the new executive members, including the Chief Minister and various Ministers of the Career Parliament, took their oaths and formally accepted their responsibilities. Hon. Shri Yashwant Shitole (President, Maharashtra Information Technology Support Center) guided the participants across the state from the main auditorium of Shri Muktanand College, Gangapur, through both offline and online modes. He emphasized the responsibilities that every student representative holds towards the nation, the state, the college, and society.

The second part of the program was an interactive session with students. During the session, the importance of the “Career Katta” initiative was elaborated, and a strong commitment was expressed towards ensuring the holistic development of students. The session was presided over by Hon. Vice Principal B. T. Pawar, who extended heartfelt congratulations to all the newly elected office bearers.

The program was graced by prominent guests, including

• Dr. Lakshminarayan Kurpatwar (Divisional Coordinator),

• Dr. Vaishali Perke (District Coordinator),

• Dr. Mrs. Vaishali Bagul (Vice Principal),
  along with all the faculty members and students. Their inspiring guidance infused a sense of renewed energy among the elected student leaders.

At the conclusion of the program, diaries and certificates were distributed to all the newly elected office bearers. The event was meticulously coordinated by Prof. Dr. Deepak Nikam (Taluka Coordinator, Career Katta), ensuring its successful execution.

The entire ceremony was organized with the cooperation of the Career Parliament Department and was a grand success. The principals of participating colleges, including Prof. Ramrao Chavan, President of Marathwada Shikshan Prasarak Mandal Hon. MLA Prakashdada Solanke, General Secretary Hon. MLA Satishbhau Chavan, Central Executive Member Adv. Hon. Laxmanrao Manal, all central committee members, and members of the College Development Committee extended their heartfelt congratulations to all the newly sworn-in office bearers.
