Oath-Taking Ceremony Career Sansad across colleges in the state

Under the joint initiative of the Department of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra and the Maharashtra Information Technology Support Centre, the Career Katta program—dedicated to the holistic development of youth—successfully conducted the Oath-Taking Ceremony of the newly constituted Career Sansad across colleges in the state, on the occasion of World Youth Skills Day, 15th July 2025.

The central event was held at Sharadabai Pawar Arts, Commerce and Science College, Shardanagar, Baramati, and was simultaneously broadcast live to various colleges across Maharashtra. The event was presided over by Principal Dr. Shrikumar Mahamuni, while the opening remarks were delivered by Principal Dr. Dhananjay Talwankar, Chairman of the State-Level Career Sansad Committee.

On this occasion, Mr. Yashwant Shitole, President of the Maharashtra Information Technology Support Centre, explained the vision behind this ceremony and guided the students. The program was anchored by Principal Dr. Deepa Verma, Divisional Coordinator (Mumbai), and the vote of thanks was presented by Dr. S.D. Deshbhatar, Secretary of the State-Level Career Sansad Committee.

Today, the Career Sansad Oath-Taking Ceremony and Student Interaction Program commenced from Shri Muktanand College, Gangapur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The event was graced by distinguished dignitaries including Principal Dr. Bharat Khandare (Divisional Principal Promoter), Dr. Rajesh Lahane (Divisional Coordinator), Mr. Lakshminarayan Kurpatwar (Co-Divisional Coordinator), Dr. Vaishali Perke (District Coordinator), Dr. Deepak Nikam (College Coordinator), and the college’s Principal Dr. Ramrao Chavan.
