Nashik District-Level Career Mapping Workshop
A Nashik District-Level Career Mapping One-Day Workshop was successfully organized at Late G. N. Sapkal College of Engineering, Nashik, on 1 September 2026. The workshop was jointly organized by the Maharashtra State Department of Higher and Technical Education, Maharashtra Information Technology Support Centre, and Late G. N. Sapkal College of Engineering, Nashik.
The workshop was conducted with the objective of providing students with information about various career opportunities and guiding them towards making informed decisions about their future careers.
The program commenced at 10:30 AM in the college auditorium with Saraswati Pujan and Saraswati Geet, followed by the Maharashtra Geet. The dignitaries present at the event were felicitated with a shawl, coconut, and bouquet.
During the inaugural session, Hon. Dr. Ravindra Sapkal, Founder and President of Sapkal Knowledge Hub, addressed and guided the students. The program was presided over by Hon. Dr. Sahebrao Bagal, Principal of Late G. N. Sapkal College of Engineering, Nashik. He highlighted the importance of technical education, quality, and proper career guidance.
Hon. Dr. Sanjay Madhav Sanap, Nashik District Principal Promoter of Career Katta, was present as the Chief Guest and shared his thoughts with the participants. Hon. Seema Baji, Nashik District Coordinator (Technical Education Department) and Head of the AI & DS Department, delivered the introductory remarks.
During the guidance session, Hon. Yashwant Shitole, President of the Maharashtra Information Technology Support Centre and State Coordinator of Career Katta, guided students regarding various career opportunities. Hon. Bhushan Kolekar, former Assistant General Manager (AGM) of the State Bank of India, provided valuable information about career opportunities in the banking and finance sectors.
An interactive review meeting was conducted for principals and coordinators, along with parallel guidance sessions for students. These sessions helped students understand career opportunities across different fields and explore various options for their future.
During the experience-sharing session, trainee students, college principals, college coordinators, and the Career Sansad Chief Minister shared their experiences and views.
The dignitaries emphasized that such workshops play an important role in helping students make the right career choices at the right time and make effective use of available opportunities in today's competitive era.
The successful organization of the workshop was made possible through the support and cooperation of the college faculty, coordinators, students, and organizers. The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Hon. Dr. Rajendra Zolekar, followed by the National Anthem.
