Career Katta Various Activities Successfully Held in Baramati
Baramati, August 8, 2026: Various important activities under ‘Career Katta’, jointly organized by the Maharashtra State Department of Higher and Technical Education and the Maharashtra Information Technology Support Centre (MITSC), were successfully conducted in Baramati. These included a student interaction program, inauguration of a Banking State Resource Centre, distribution of T-shirts to students of the Police Recruitment Pre-Training Centre, and several other initiatives.
More than 250 students participated in the ‘Career Katta – Student Interaction’ program at Tuljaram Chaturchand College of Arts, Science and Commerce. On this occasion, Career Katta President Mr. Yashwant Shitole guided students on the importance of skill development, communication skills, continuous learning, and proper career planning.
A career-oriented interaction was also conducted with around 300 girl students at Sharadabai Pawar College, Shardanagar. The students were guided about various career opportunities, skill development, and competitive examinations.
At Vidya Pratishthan’s Arts, Science and Commerce College, Maharashtra’s first ‘Banking State Resource Centre’ was inaugurated. Through this centre, students will receive guidance on banking competitive examinations, financial literacy, skill development, AI technology, and employment opportunities. Over the next two months, 150 students will receive 100 hours of free training.
On this occasion, Pratiksha Satav and Sakshi Pawar, who achieved success in the CMA Foundation Examination, and Purva Wankhede, who was awarded a patent, were felicitated.
Along with this, T-shirts were distributed to students of Vidya Pratishthan’s Career Katta – Police Recruitment Pre-Training Centre.
These initiatives provided students in the Baramati region with valuable guidance regarding career opportunities, skill development, competitive examinations, and employment opportunities.
