Career Katta Nanded Divisional Award Distribution Ceremony and Workshop on “Viksit Bharat 2047” Successfully Held
The Career Katta Nanded Divisional Award Distribution Ceremony and a one-day workshop on the topic “Viksit Bharat 2047: Role of National Education Policy and Higher Education in the Economic Development of Maharashtra” was successfully organized on Monday, 16 March 2026 at Digambarrao Bindu Arts, Commerce and Science College, Bhokar.
The program was jointly organized by the Department of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra, the Maharashtra Information Technology Support Center (MITSC), and Digambarrao Bindu Arts, Commerce and Science College, Bhokar.
The event was presided over by Dr. Vrushali Kinhalkar (Chairperson, College Development Committee, Digambarrao Bindu College, Bhokar). The inauguration of the program was done by Dr. Babasaheb Bhosale (Joint Director, Higher Education Department, Nanded). D. S. Hake (Deputy Superintendent of Police, Bhokar, District Nanded) attended as the Chief Guest. The key guidance session was delivered by Yashwant Shitole (President, Maharashtra Information Technology Support Center), who motivated and guided the students.
Under the Career Katta initiative, the Career Katta Promotion Competition is organized every year. In this competition, colleges, coordinators, principals, and Career Parliament office bearers who performed exceptionally were felicitated with awards during the ceremony.
On this occasion, distinguished guests also guided the students on the theme “Viksit Bharat 2047”, focusing on the National Education Policy (NEP), higher education, and the role of students in the economic development of Maharashtra.
The successful organization of the program was made possible with the support of Principal Dr. Punjab Chavan (Divisional Principal Promoter, Nanded), Principal Dr. Ganeshchandra Shinde (Principal Promoter, Nanded City), Principal Dr. Mohan Khatal (Principal Promoter, Nanded Rural), Prof. Dr. Madhav Chole (District Coordinator, Nanded Rural), Prof. Dr. Satish Chavan (Divisional Coordinator, Nanded Division), and Prof. Shrikant Dhulewad (District Coordinator, Nanded City).
The program was attended by students, professors, and dignitaries from various colleges, and it proved to be inspirational and highly beneficial for students.
