Higher Education Plays an Important Role in “Developed India 2047”; Jalgaon Divisional Award Distribution Ceremony Held in Sakri
Sakri, Dhule:
The Jalgaon Divisional Award Distribution Ceremony under the Career Katta initiative was successfully held with great enthusiasm on 28 February 2026. The program was jointly organized by the Higher and Technical Education Department of Maharashtra, Maharashtra Information Technology Support Center, and Sitaram Govind Patil Arts, Science and Commerce College, Sakri.
On this occasion, a one-day workshop was also successfully conducted on the theme “Developed India 2047: Role of National Education Policy and Higher Education in the Economic Development of Maharashtra.”
The program was presided over by Mr. Yashwant Shitole, President of Maharashtra Information Technology Support Center, who emphasized the importance of integrating technology with education in the journey toward Developed India.
The program was inaugurated by Bhaiyyasaheb Chandrjit Suresh Patil, Vice President of Vidya Vikas Mandal, Sakri.
Dr. R. R. Ahire, Principal Promoter of Dhule District Rural, attended as the chief guide and provided detailed guidance on the key aspects of the National Education Policy and opportunities in higher education.
The ceremony was also graced by the presence of Dr. M. V. Patil, Principal Promoter of Dhule District.

Dignitaries expressed that Career Katta has become an effective platform for the holistic development of youth, and such workshops will play a milestone role in the effective implementation of the National Education Policy.
During the program, colleges, principals, and coordinators from Jalgaon, Dhule, and Nandurbar districts were honored for their outstanding performance.
A total of 25 awards were distributed.
Awards were also presented to winners of various Career Katta activities and competitions, including:
Reels Competition – 4 awards
AWS Career Tour – 7 awards
Solar Energy Awareness – 3 awards
A total of 14 competition awards were distributed.
The success of the event was made possible through the special efforts of Jalgaon Divisional Principal Promoters, Divisional Coordinators, and District Coordinators.
A large number of Career Katta college principals, coordinators, Career Parliament officials, and education sector dignitaries from across the division were present at the ceremony.
