“79th Independence Day: Poornanginis Carry Forward the Legacy at Kolhapur”
Celebration of India’s 79th Independence Day at Maharashtra Information Technology Support Center, Kolhapur
On the occasion of India’s 79th Independence Day, the celebration was held with great enthusiasm at the Maharashtra Information Technology Support Center, Kolhapur. The flag hoisting ceremony was gracefully conducted at the hands of Hon. Poornangini Savita Teli. Since 2021, the tradition of flag hoisting by Poornangini has continued unbroken, and this year too, her valuable contribution upheld the legacy.
Under the initiative “I am Self-Reliant Poornangini”, representatives were appointed in every taluka, demonstrating their commitment to work tirelessly for the empowerment of Poornanginis across Kolhapur district. During the event, appointment letters were presented to Hon. Poornangini Dhanshree Devardekar (Government Schemes Representative), Hon. Poornangini Shubhangi Kshirsagar (Savings Group Representative for Kolhapur District), and Hon. Savita Teli (Hatkanangale Taluka Representative).
The program was anchored by the organization’s Treasurer, Mrs. Amruta Patil, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Project Coordinator, Poornangini Vaishnavi Lakde.
Special thanks were extended to the organization’s office assistants – Hon. Rishi Kamble, Hon. Zarina Khan, Hon. Padmaja Khemalapure, Hon. Bhakti Kukalekar – and to all the Poornanginis who graced the occasion.
